One time through      Greet the Sky, Unborn Mind, Heart, Body, Life, and the Land.

Expanding like the Sun

9 Breaths        Three breaths focused on embodiment, then Breath, then Kelp like movement. Connect with the First Ocean of Dao. (See Pages 158)

Elephant Bathes its Ears

9 Breaths        Focus on the imagined resistance as you bathe, shake, off, dry in the Sun, and then cleanse in the Wind.  

Lifting the Ocean into the Clouds

6 Repetitions Rest as the mirror pond in the Hands Float on Water Posture.

Old Person Strokes Braids

3 Times           Open your upper body and rotator cuff with an ancient story.

Bend and Sway

2 Minutes       Bend, hang from your sacrum, sway, and extend your Spine. Then release your shoulder blades off of your tailbone.

Wave Hands

2 – 3 Minutes             Reverse direction and shift your weight, and freeform Tai Chi.

Standing like a Tree, Breathe Like a Baby

1 – 2 Minutes for each option           Begin with Natural Breathing, then some Reverse Breathing, finish with some Three Inner Vessels (Nèi Qiāng) Breathwork

Exploring Your Qi Ball

2 – 3 Minutes              Draw in and hold together your Qi Ball. Rolling and Sphering, Mixing the Qi of the Sky and the Land.

Settling and Sensing into your Three Dan Tian

2-3 Minutes                Become a Mountain. Palms move towards each Dan Tian 9 times. Filling Your bones with Marrow.

Closing - A Moment of Generosity

5 times            Moment of Gratitude for each of the Five Elements.

5 times             Closing Your Practice. Feet together on the final repetition.
