Week Six

Sacred Space

Finding Center

9 Breaths        Wu Ji - One for Left/Right, one for Front/Back, and one for Up/Down.  Three for Wu Ji experience. Three breaths hanging from above, weight falling through the central point between your feet.

9 Breaths        Tai Ji - One for Left/Right, one for Front/Back, and one for Up/Down. Three for Tai Ji experience. Three breaths hanging from above, weight falling through the central point between your feet.

Three Fold Path Solution

3 Minutes       Three times through, meeting the Sky, Unborn Mind, Heart, Body, Life, and the Land.

Wings of Here and There

9 times One facing forward, three to the right, one forward, three to the left, final on forward.  Fingers like feathers. Keep your attention on Vase Breathing. 

Stirring and Exploring Your Qi Ball

9 Circles, both directions      Vertical circles with an occasional pause for a Blessing from the Sky or the Land.

2 – 3 Minutes              Rolling Spheres in front of your chest. Feel the Egg’s surface, and then the Yolk in front of your chest. Warm your Heart and the Yolk.

Expanding like the Sun

9 Breaths        Three breaths focused on embodiment, move like fluid Reaching and Melting. Connect with the First Ocean of Dao. (See Page 158)

Wise Owl Looks Back

3 Times per side        Pause for a breath and reset your alignment, breathe consciously, level your pelvis, expansive expression. Focus on momentum, circles, and spirals.

Lifting the Ocean into the Clouds

6 Repetitions

Inhale - deeply and quickly as your reach upward (4 count).

Exhale - Sigh audibly and slowly as your fingers fall like rain (8 count), follow mountain rivers to the ocean, or down your face and body. End in the Hands Float on Water Posture (see image).

Become a Still Pond.  Be the Stillness and the Reflection.

Standing like a Tree, Breathe Like a Baby

5 Minutes       (1 – 2 Minutes for each option). Begin with Natural Breathing, then some Reverse Breathing, finish with some Three Inner Vessels (Nèi Qiāng) Breathwork.  

Settling and Sensing into your Three Dan Tian

2-3 Minutes    Become a Mountain. Palms slowly pass in front of each Dan Tian 9 times.

Closing - A Moment of Generosity

5 times            Moment of Gratitude for each of the Five Elements.

5 times             Closing Your Practice. Feet together on the final repetition.
