Expanding like the Sun
9 Breaths Three breaths focused on embodiment, move like a wave, like Kelp – Dance to the Ocean and breath. Fluid Reaching and Melting. Connect with the First Ocean of Dao. (See Page 158)
Standing like a Tree, Breathe Like a Baby
5 Minutes (1 – 2 Minutes for each option). Begin with Natural Breathing, then some Reverse Breathing, finish with some Three Inner Vessels (Nèi Qiāng) Breathwork.
Structural Alignment
3 Minutes Enjoy reviewing all aspects of Alignment.
Wings of Here and There
3 – 4 Minutes Facing forward, turn to the right, lean and open your left side, turn towards your left and repeat. Fingers like feather. Also keep your attention on Vase Breathing as you open your chest.
Bend and Sway
2 Minutes Bend and hang from your sacrum, sway and extend your spine, then release your shoulder blades.
Lifting the Ocean into the Clouds
6 Repetitions Focus on bathing your face and body, coming into stillness in the Hand Float on Water Posture.
Wise Owl Looks Back
3 Times each side Momentum, Circles, and Spirals.
Old Person Strokes Braids
3 Times Open your upper body and rotator cuff with an ancient story.
Wave Hands
2 – 3 Minutes Occasionally include some random Reaching and Melting practice.
Exploring Your Qi Ball
2 – 3 Minutes Draw in and hold together your Qi Ball. Rolling and Sphering, spongy shell of an egg, focus on the egg yolk, with a long focused exhale. Rolling Spheres, Eggs, and Yolks in front of your chest.
Settling and Sensing into your Three Dan Tian
2 - 3 Minutes Become a Mountain. Palms slowly pass in front of each Dan Tian 9 times. Clear any tension by releasing that part of your body completely.
Closing - A Moment of Generosity
5 times Moment of Gratitude for each of the Five Elements.
5 times Closing Your Practice. Feet together on the final repetition.
